Dear saints,
Our dear brother George Whitington from Texas, whom some of you may know, recently passed away to be with the Lord. Below is an announcement from the church in San Antonio.

Announcements:
Our brother, George Whitington, has completed his course and “departed to be with Christ” on Monday, November 4, 2024. If you would like to send a card or letter of condolence, you may send it to our church P.O. Box. We will pass them on to the family. P.O. Box 692440, San Antonio, TX 78269.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX 78230.
Friends, family, and others whose lives have been touched by George are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the funeral home chapel, followed by a committal service at Mission Retama Cemetery.

In place of flowers, the family requests donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation, the Church in San Antonio building fund, or the charity of your choice. The link to donate to the church in San Antonio is below.
